If found damaged, remove the spacer for the inner race of inner bearing.Screw two M 10 screws on stub axle flange to push it out. This completes the disassembly of wheel hub.

Press out and lower the king pin bushes from the stub axle, using a drift.
If found damaged, remove the spacer for the inner race of inner bearing.
Then remove the stub axle.With this we complete the removal of stub axle.

After removing the stub axle from the vehicle, we move on to the inspection of front axle beam.

If necessary, straighten the front axle beam with the help of a hydraulic press.
Now check the end bosses of the front axle beam for twist.
For this purpose, insert two alignment arbors having part no:000 589 01 23 into the right and left king pin holes.
Center the arbors with the help of cones and then lock them in place by using the clamps. See across both arbors.
Straighten the front axle beam with the help of a hydraulic press. Begin at the spring support surface that has been clamped in.
Place straight edges of at least one meter length across both spring supporting surfaces.
Set the angle of special gauge wih the part no:000 589 01 23, to the prescribed king pin inclination.
Place the gauge on the straight edge and slide towards arbor.
See whether both legs of the gauge touch the arbor.If they don’t touch, kingpin inclination is incorrect.
Measure the kingpin bore diameters in the axle beam.
If the bore size is worn out, ream it to the next repair size using an adjustable reamer with the part no:000 589 07 53, from the reaming set with the part no:2576 5890 3308.
If the supporting surfaces of stub axle on the axle beam are scored, they must be finished with a file or on a machine equipped for this purpose.
The upper and lower surface should be parallel and perpendicular in relation to kingpin bore respectively. With this we complete the inspection of front axle beam.

If thrust washers and bearings are damaged, replace them with new ones.
This completes the inspection of stub axle.Now we move on to the inspection of the brake drum.
First clean the brake drum thoroughly and make sure that the friction surface of the brake drum is clean and dry.
Visually inspect the brake drum for cracks, score marks and wear.
If the brake drum is damaged, machine it to the next repair size. If the brake drum is irreparable, replace it with a new one.
This completes the inspection of the brake drum.

ફ્રન્ટ એક્સલ બીમના કેન્દ્રમાં તેને આધાર આપવા એક જેકને ગોઠવો નહી.
જેકનું સંચાલન કરતી વખતે,વાહનને ઉંચકો જ્યાં સુધી આગળના પૈડા સંપૂર્ણપણે જમીનથી દૂર હોય.
આગળની સ્પ્રીંગોની પાછળની ફ્રેમના લાંબા ઢાંચાની અંદર ટ્રક હોર્સીસ ગોઠવવા દ્વારા ફ્રેમને આધાર આપો.
હવે,આગળના પૈડાઓ પરથી વ્હીલ નટ્સને દૂર કરો.ત્યારબાદ પૈડાઓને બહાર કાઢો.
પાછળના પૈડાઓની બન્ને બાજુ શું મૂકવુ જોઈએ.?
1.વ્હીલ ચોક્સ
2.જેક
તે સાચુ છે. પાછળના પૈડાઓની બન્ને બાજુ વ્હીલ ચોક્સ મૂકવા જોઈએ.
તે ખોટુ છે. પાછળના પૈડાઓની બન્ને બાજુ વ્હીલ ચોક્સ મૂકવા જોઈએ..
આગળ,બ્રેક એક્ચ્યુએટરોથી બ્રેક પાઈપનું જોડાણ તોડી દો.જો માત્ર બ્રેક ડ્રમ અથવા વ્હીલ હબની એકની મરમ્મત કરવાની હોય તો તેના પર આપણે આના પછી જઈ શકીએ છીએ.
જો ફ્રન્ટ એક્સલને જ દૂર કરવાનુ હોય તો નિમ્નલિખિત પ્રક્રિયાનું વહન કરવુ જરૂરી છે.
સ્પીલ્ટ પીનને દૂર કરો અને સ્ટીયરીંગ આર્મ પરના ડ્રેગ લીંક બોલ જોઈન્ટના કાસ્ટલ નટને ખોલો.
વિશિષ્ટ પુલરનો ઉપયોગ કરીને,બોલ જોઈન્ટ પીન પરથી સ્ટીયરીંગ આર્મને દાબીને બહાર કાઢો.
હવે,શોક એબસોર્બર્સના તળિયા પરના આધારરૂપ બોલ્ટોના લોક નટ્સને ખોલો.
તે પછી,કોઈપણ બાજુ પરથી આધારરૂપ બ્રેકેટ પરથી શોક એબસોર્બર્સના તળિયા પરના આધારરૂપ બોલ્ટોને દૂર કરો.

બે M 12*1.5*25 સ્ક્રઓને આગળના બ્રેક ડ્રમના નિકાલ છિદ્રો દ્વારા સ્ક્રુ મારફતે સજજ્ડ કરો અને તેને આગળના વ્હીલ હબમાંથી ખેંચીને બહાર કાઢો.
હવે આપણે આગળના વ્હીલ હબના સ્થળાંતર તરફ આગળ વધીએ.
પૈડાના સ્પેનરનો ઉપયોગ કરીને આગલના વ્હીલ હબના કેપને ખોલો અને દૂર કરો.
સ્ટબ એક્સલ પરની કાસ્ટલ નટની સ્પ્લીટ પીનને દૂર કરો.
વિશિષ્ટ પકડનો ઉપયોગ કરીને,સ્ટબ એક્સલ પરના કાસ્ટલ નટને ખોલો.
થ્રસ્ટ વોશરને દૂર કરો અને પુલરનો ઉપયોગ કરીને આગળના વ્હીલ હબને ખેંચીને બહાર કાઢો.આ વ્હીલ હબના સ્થળાંતરને પૂર્ણ કરે છે.
બહારની ટેપર્ડ રોલર બેઅરીંગની અંદરની શ્રેણીઓને તેના રોલરો સાથે દૂર કરો અને આગળના વ્હીલ હબ પરથી રોલર કેજ દૂર કરો.
અંદરની ટેપર્ડ રોલર બેઅરીંગને પુલરનો ઉપયોગ કરીને આગળના વ્હીલ હબ પરથી સ્પેસર અને સીલીંગ રીંગ સાથે દૂર કરો.
બહારની ટેપર્ડ રોલર બેઅરીંગની બહારની શ્રેણીને આગળના વ્હીલ હબ પરથી પુલરનો ઉપયોગ કરીને દૂર કરો.
પૈડાને આધારરૂપ પીનોને વ્હીલ હબમાં વજનદાર પ્રેસ ફીટ હોય છે.સામાન્યપણે તેમને દૂર કરવાની જરૂર રહેતી નથી.
જોકે નુકસાન થયેલા દોરા કે શિથિલ ફીટ સાથેની પૈડાને આધારરૂપ પીનોની બદલી કરવી જરૂરી છે.
જો નુકસાન દેખાય તો,અંદરની બેઅરીંગની અંદરની શ્રેણી માટે સ્પેસરને દૂર કરો.સ્ટબ એક્સલ ફ્લેંજ પર તેને બહાર કાઢવા માટે બે M 10 સ્ક્રુઓ સજ્જડ કરો.આ વ્હીલ હબના જોડાણોને તોડવાની પ્રક્રિયાને પૂર્ણ કરે છે.
આગળના વ્હીલ હબને દૂર માત્ર આને દૂર કર્યા પછી જ કરી શકાય છે:
1.પૈડાને આધારરૂપ સ્ક્રુ 2. બ્રેક ડ્રમ
તે ખોટુ છે. આગળના વ્હીલ હબને બ્રેક ડ્રમને દૂર કર્યા પછી જ દૂર કરી શકાય છે.
તે સાચુ છે. આગળના વ્હીલ હબને બ્રેક ડ્રમને દૂર કર્યા પછી જ દૂર કરી શકાય છે.

આગળના પૈડાઓથી તમામ બ્રેક જોડાણો દૂર કર્યા પછી,આપણે સ્ટબ એક્સલના સ્થળાંતર તરફ આગળ વધશું.
સ્પ્લીટ પીનને દૂર કરો અને ટાઈ રોડ પરના બોલ જોઈન્ટના કાસ્ટલ નટને ખોલો.
વિશેષ પુલરનો ઉપયોગ કરીને,બોલ જોઈન્ટ પીન પરથી સ્ટીયરીંગ આર્મને ખેંચીને બહાર કાઢો.
સ્પ્લીટ પીનોને દૂર કરો અને બ્રેક એન્કર પ્લેટના આધારરૂપ બોલ્ટોના કાસ્ટલ નટને ખોલો.
આધારરૂપ બોલ્ટોને બહાર કાઢો અને ત્યારબાદ બ્રેક એન્કર પ્લેટ અને સ્ટીયરીંગ આર્મને દૂર કરો.
પ્લાયરનો ઉપયોગ કરીને,બે સર્ક્લીપને હટાવો.એક કીંગ પીન પ્લગ પરની અને બીજી કીંગ પીનના સીલીંગ કેપની નીચેની.
કીંગ પીનના સૌથી ઉપર રહેલા કીંગ પીન પ્લગને તેની ગાસ્કેટ રીંગ સાથે દૂર કરો.
કીંગ પીનના તળિયા પરના ગ્રીઝ નીપલને દૂર કરો અને કીંગ પીન સીલીંગ કેપને ગાસ્કેટ રીંગ સાથે દૂર કરો.
નટને ખોલો અને ફ્રન્ટ એક્સલ બીમમાંના કીંગ પીનને સુરક્ષિત કરનારી કોટર પીનને દૂર કરો.
સ્ટબ એક્સલ પર વિશેષ ફીક્ચર બેસાડો અને કીંગ પીનને બહાર કાઢો.આ વિશેષ ફીક્ચરને 12 ટનની ક્ષમતાવાળુ જળપ્રેરીત જેક છે.
સ્ટબ એક્સલને અને સૌથી ઉપરના થ્રસ્ટ બેઅરીંગ શીમોને દૂર કરો .તેમજ તળિયા પરના થ્રસ્ટ બેઅરીંગને પણ દૂર કરો..
ડ્રીફ્ટનો ઉપયોગ કરીને,સ્ટબ એક્સલ પરથી કીંગ પીન બશીસને દબાવો અને નીચે ઉતારો.
જો નુકસાન થયેલુ દેખાય તો.અંદરની બેઅરીંગની અંદર શ્રેણી માટેના સ્પેસરને દૂર કરો.
ત્યારબાદ સ્ટબ એક્સલને દૂર કરો.આ સાથે આપણે સ્ટબ એક્સલના સ્થાળાંતરને પૂર્ણ કરીએ છીએ.
આને દૂર કર્યા પછીજ કીંગ પીન સીલીંગ કેપોને દૂર કરવા જોઈએ.:
1. ગાસ્કેટ
2. ગ્રીઝ નીપલ.
તે ખોટુ છે. કીંગ પીન સીલીંગ કેપોને ગ્રીઝ નીપલને દૂર કર્યા પછી જ દૂર કરવા જોઈએ.
તે સાચુ છે. કીંગ પીન સીલીંગ કેપોને ગ્રીઝ નીપલને દૂર કર્યા પછી જ દૂર કરવા જોઈએ.

હવે આપણે ટાઈ રોડના જોડાણોને તોડતા શીખશું.
સ્પ્લીટ પીનોને દૂર કરો અને ટાઈ રોડ પરના પટ્ટાના કાસ્ટલ નટોને ખોલો.ટાઈ રોડ પરથી બોલ જોઈન્ટોને ખોલો.
પછી કેપ નટની લોકીંગ રીંગને દૂર કરો.યોગ્ય સ્પેનરની મદદથી બોલ સોકેટ સંરક્ષક પરથી કેપ નટને કોલો.હવે સ્પ્રીંગ અને બોલ સોકેટને દૂર કરો.
પછી ડસ્ટ કેપને દૂર કરો.જોડાણોને ઢીલા કરવા માટે દૂર કરેલા તમામ પાર્ટસને એકસાથે રાખો.
બોલ પીનને બોલ સોકેટ સાથે દૂર કરો.જો કોઈ મુશ્કેલી આવે તો તેઓને હથોડાની મદદથી બહાર કાઢી દો.
તમામ પાર્ટસને સ્વચ્છ કરો અને ઘસારા માટે તેમની ચકાસણી કરો.ખામીવાળા પાર્ટસને નવા પાર્ટસથી બદલી દો.
જો બોલ પીનને નવી પીનથી બદલવી પડે તો,બોલ સોકેટની બદલી કરવી પણ જરૂરી છે.આ ટાઈ-રોડના સ્થળાંતરને પૂર્ણ કરે છે.
બોલ પીનને કયા ઘટકની સાથે દૂર કરવામાં આવે છે?
1.બોલ સોકેટ 2.સ્પ્રીંગ
તે સાચુ છે.બોલ પીનને બોલ સોકેટની સાથે દૂર કરવામાં આવે છે.
તે ખોટુ છે. બોલ પીનને બોલ સોકેટની સાથે દૂર કરવામાં આવે છે.

વાહન પરથી સ્ટબ એક્સલને દૂર કર્યા પછી,આપણે ફ્રન્ટ એક્સલ બીમની તપાસણી પર જઈશું.
તપાસણી પહેલા,ફ્રન્ટ એક્સલને તેના પરથી ધુળ અને ગ્રીઝને દૂર કરવા બરાબર રીતે સ્વચ્છ કરવુ જરૂરી છે.
એક્સલ બીમને ગરમ કર્યા વગર જ હંમેશા ફ્રન્ટ એક્સલ બીમને સીધુ કરવુ.
ફ્રન્ટ એક્સલ બીમના વળાંકની પ્રથમ ચકાસણી કરવા દ્વારા તપાસની શરૂઆત કરીએ.
સપાટી પર આધાર રાખેલી દરેક સ્પ્રીંગ પર ઓછામાં ઓછી 400 મિ.મિની લંબાઈની બે સીધી બાજુઓ ગોઠવો.
જ્યારે તમે બે સીધી બાજુઓ તરફ જુઓ,તો તેઓ સમાન સ્તર પર અને સીધી રેખામાં લાગવી જોઈએ.
જો જરૂરી જણાય તો,જળપ્રરીત દબાણની મદદથી ફ્રન્ટ એક્સલ બીમને સીધુ કરો.
હવે,વળાંક માટે ફ્રન્ટ એક્સલ બીમના છેડાના બોસીસની ચકાસણી કરો.
આ હેતુસર,કીંગ પીનના કાણાઓની જમણી અને ડાબી બાજુ પાર્ટ નં: 000 589 01 23 હોય તેવા બે સીધા દાંડાઓ દાખલ કરો.
કોનની મદદથી દાંડાઓને કેન્દ્રિત કરો અને ત્યારબાદ પટ્ટાઓનો ઉપયોગ કરીને તેમને તેમના સ્થાન પર લોક કરો.બન્ને દાંડાઓની તરફ જુઓ.
જળપ્રેરીત દબાણની મદદથી ફ્રન્ટ એક્સલ બીમને સીધુ કરો.પટ્ટા વડે મજબૂત બનાવેલી સ્પ્રીંગને આધાર આપતી સપાટીથી શરૂઆત કરો.
સ્પ્રીંગને આધાર આપતી બન્ને સપાટીઓમાં ઓછીમાં ઓછી એક મીટરની લંબાઈની સીધી બાજુઓ ગોઠવો.
મુકરર કરેલા કીંગ પીન ઢોળાવને પાર્ટ નં:000 589 01 23 સાથેનો વિશેષ ગોઝનો ખૂણો સ્થાપો.
સીધી બાજુ પર ગોઝ ગોઠવો અને તેને દાંડા તરફ સરકાવો.
જુઓ કે ગોઝના બન્ને પગ દાંડાને સ્પર્શે છે કે નહી.જો તે ન સ્પર્શતા હોય તો,કીંગ પીનનો ઢોળાવ ખોટો છે.
એક્સલ બીમમાં કીંગ પીન બોર પરિમાણનું માપ લો.
જો બોરનું કદ ચવાઈ ગયુ હોય તો,પાર્ટ નં:2576 5890 3308. સાથેના રીમીંગ સેટથી,પાર્ટ નં:000 589 07 53 સાથેના સમાયોજનીય છિદ્ર પાડવાના યંત્રનો ઉપયોગ કરીને નવા દુરસ્ત કદમાં તેમાં છિદ્ર કરો.
જો એક્સલ બીમ પરના સ્ટબ એક્સલની આધારરૂપ સપાટીઓમાં કાપા પડ્યા હોય તો,તેઓને આ હેતુ માટે સજ્જ કરેલી મશીન કે ફાઈલ સાથે ઉઠાવ આપવો જરૂરી છે.
ઉપરની અને નીચેની સપાટીઓ ક્રમશ: રીતે કીંગ પીન બોરના સંબંધમાં સમાંતર અને લંબ હોવી જોઈએ.આ સાથે આપણે ફ્રન્ટ એક્સલ બીમની તપાસણી પૂર્ણ કરી.
છેવટના બોસીસના વળાંકોની ચકાસણી કરવા કયા પાર્ટનો ઉપયોગ થાય છે.?
1. છિદ્ર પાડવાના યંત્રનો 2. સીધા દાંડાનો
તે ખોટુ છે. છેવટના બોસીસના વળાંકે સીધા દાંડાની મદદથી ચકાસવામાં આવે છે.
તે સાચુ છે. છેવટના બોસીસના વળાંકે સીધા દાંડાની મદદથી ચકાસવામાં આવે છે.

જો રીડીંગ 0.05મિ.મિથી વધારે હોય તો સ્ટબ એક્સલની નવા સ્ટબ એક્સલ સાથે બદલી કરો
સ્ટબ એક્સલ પેરેન્ટ બોર અને કીંગ પીન બશીસના બહારની જાડાઈને માપો.
જોડાણ કરતી વખતે હંમેશા નવી કીંગ પીન બશીસનો ઉપયોગ કરો.
જો કીંગ પીન બશીસ અતિશય ઘસાઈ ગઈ હોય તો.તેનો મતલબ એ પણ થઈ શકે કે કીંગ પીન પણ ઘસાઈ ગઈ છે અને ત્યાં ચીકણાપણાનો અભાવ છે.
નુકસાનના કોઈપણ ચિહ્નો માટે જેવા કે તિરાડો અને ઘસાઈ ગયેલા ક્ષેત્રો માટે દ્રષ્ટીગમ્ય રીતે થ્રસ્ટ વોશરો,શીમ્સ અને થ્રસ્ટ બેઅરીંગોની તપાસણી કરો.
જો થ્રસ્ટ વોશરો અને બેઅરીંગને નુકસાન થયુ હોય તો,તેઓને નવા સાથે બદલી દો..
આ સ્ટબ એક્સલની તપાસણીને પૂર્ણ કરે છે.હવે આપણે બ્રેક ડ્રમની તપાસણી તરફ આગળ વધશું.
પ્રથમ બ્રેક ડ્રમને સંપૂર્ણપણે સ્વચ્છ કરો અને ખાતરી કરો કે બ્રેક ડ્રમની ઘર્ષણ સપાટી સ્વચ્છ અને સૂકી છે.
બ્રેક ડ્રમની તિરાડો,કાપાના ચિહ્નો અને ઘસારા માટે પોતાની આંખોથી તપાસણી કરો.
