I thought about it and, more importantly, I took action. At the beginning of this year, I underwent a total knee replacement surgery on my right knee, which required general anaesthesia. Given my age, I was anxious to get my affairs in order, especially because my eldest son had unexpectedly died a few months earlier from a haemorrhagic brain aneurysm...

| No, I do not! | Sep 6, 2025 |
First, I am sorry for your son passing, Maria. Secondly, I do not have kids yet, so I think that it is not necessary to think about that yet.

Yes. All arrangements are in place. Quite a lot of work was involved to get the documentation correct.

| The only 'inheritance arrangement' | Sep 7, 2025 |
The only 'inheritance arrangement' that is any of Proz's business is what happens with the Proz account.
THAT might be a topic deserving its own thread.
Anything else goes under NOYFBB.

I was so saddened to hear about your son!
Please accept my deepest condolences.
Regarding the poll:
I don't have direct heirs and it’s not something I need to do right away, but sometimes making even a simple will can bring peace of mind.

I am deeply saddened to hear about your loss. I found it strange when you only mentioned "both your daughters" in a different post the other day as I thought you also had another child, but was hoping it's nothing.
I am wishing you peace and health, stay strong!!
