Two weeks ago (Sept.5) I bought a Metatexis Lite (got its licence key).
A good program correctly working with Latvian and Russian fonts.
What is more it's cheap -- only $34. I also paid some bank charges (local + correspondent), which were higher than the price of this program. The total amount paid was abt. a one-month Latvian pension.
But there is a small problem: this program doesn't function.

It's blocked, though there is such information on Hermann Bruns' web site:

But I just intended to use this Term Database. I wanted to enter words and word-combinations from my agreements in Latvian to translate them into Russian (like MT programs, not TM) to reduce typing.
I wrote to Hermann Bruns and got a thanks for "the bug report."
I again wrote to Hermann Bruns and asked him when I could use this bought program.
The reply was:

Hermann Bruns keeps on advertising his product (Lite) and its nonfunctioning "Terminology database/glossary."
I keep on replacing Latvian words by the Russian ones in MS Word without the bought Metatexis, by means of the Replace command. ▲ Collapse

I thought of buying Metatexis a few months ago. Fortunately I didn't do so. And now, surely I will not.

Dear Perry,
there is no risk in running a trial version of MetaTexis. You can download it at www.metatexis.com and test all functions.
If there is any problem, you can let me know. And I usually react on the same day (if possible).
In Igor's case, there just was a technical communication problem. We have sorted this out.

Hermann, for your email I've received today.
Unfortunately I didn't receive the email of Sept.15. It's a pity you didn't write me in your evening letter with "very soon" (Sept.14) that tomorrow (Sept.15) you would send me a link to download the beta.
