The Snake and the Farmer is a fable attributed to Aesop, of which there are ancient variants and several more from both Europe and India dating from Mediaeval times. The story is classed as Aarne-Thompson-Uther type 285D, and its theme is that a broken friendship cannot be mended.[1] While this fable does admit the possibility of a mutually beneficial relationship between man and snake, the similarly titled The Farmer and the Viper denies it.

The story is recorded in both Greek and Latin sources. In the former, the farmer dies reproaching himself "for pitying a scoundrel", while in the version by Phaedrus the snake says that he bit his benefactor "to teach the lesson not to expect a reward from the wicked." The latter sentiment is made the moral in Medieval versions of the fable. Odo of Cheriton's snake answers the farmer's demand for an explanation with a counter-question, "Did you not know that there is enmity and natural antipathy between your kind and mine? Did you not know that a serpent in the bosom, a mouse in a bag and fire in a barn give their hosts an ill reward?" In modern times the fable has been applied in the religious sphere to teach that if one participates in unrighteous activities one is not immune to harm.

An Unfinished Film (Chinese: 一部未完成的电影) is a 2024 docufiction film directed by Lou Ye, and written by Lou and Yingli Ma.[1][2]

It had its world premiere on 16 May 2024 at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, in the Special Screenings section.[3][4] It won both Best Narrative Feature and Best Director at the 61st Golden Horse Awards.[5]

　　视频被拍摄到网上，引发大量关注，一些大V纷纷跳出来质疑，该女子是在故意演戏。并呼吁大家对这样装可怜造谣的人，最好别搭理，这不是善良，而是愚蠢，是助纣为虐，你是帮凶。

　　因为被无数正能量人士所质疑、所以视频发出来，也一再的被消失。

　　但更多善良的网友参与接力，不仅方方将“敲锣救母”写进日记，还有许多人不断转发、以及求证证实视频的真实性。

　　在支持与质疑的角逐中，视频删删发发，几度沉浮，该女子的母亲被及时收治，最终化险为夷。

　　按说这本是一个完美的人间有情的故事，甚至可以当做现代冷漠社会的范本。

　　但遗憾的是，随着方方的日记争议的加大，该女子作为一个被帮助者，不仅没有对给予她帮助的人以情义或道义上的支持或理解，反而跳出来指责曾经帮助他的人，不该将她的遭遇当做武器，斥责人家将她拖下水。

Fangfang included Li lina's story into her Wuhan Diary. Li lina（李丽娜）is from Wuhan. Her mother had Covid-19 but cannot be hospitalized. On February 8, she chose to beat a basin (as a gong) on the balcony and shouted out her mother's experience. Her act was shot and uploaded to the internet which caused a great impact. Because she had become a known figure, she and her mother were admitted to the hospital and both discharged in March.

　　10余天后，人们担忧的一幕出现了。该社区辖内安居苑共55栋楼里，33栋出现发热病人；百合苑共36栋楼里，17栋出现发热病人，其他小区也有疑似、确诊病例。目前，武汉市医疗资源高度紧张，百步亭社区的现状令人揪心。再回过头看看当日人挨人、人挤人的“万家宴”，怎能不痛心疾首？

事发近一个月后，武汉公布疫情的8名“造谣者”，被中国疾控中心流行病学首席科学家曾光，称赞为“事前诸葛亮”。

其中一人，是武汉市中心医院眼科医生李文亮，新京报记者从李文亮处了解到，2019年12月30日下午5点43分，他在同学群里提到，“华南水果海鲜市场确诊了7例SARS”。一个小时后，他在群里补充称，“最新消息是冠状病毒感染确定了，正在进行病毒分型”。据武汉卫健委2019年12月31日发布的消息，近期部分医疗机构发现接诊的多例肺炎病例，与华南海鲜城有关联，目前已发现27例病例，其中7例病情严重。

China has executed two people for their role in a scandal involving tainted milk powder that resulted in six children dying, officials have said.

More than 300,000 other infants were made ill from milk powder contaminated with melamine, an industrial chemical used to make plastics and fertiliser.

Zhang Yujun and Geng Jinping are the only people to have been executed over the scandal, court officials said.

Nineteen other people were sentenced to prison terms.

Zhang Yujun was convicted of endangering public safety by dangerous means, for selling more than 770 tonnes of the tainted milk powder from July 2007 to August 2008, the official Xinhua news agency said.

Geng Jinping, who managed a milk production centre, was convicted of supplying milk containing melamine to the now-bankrupt Sanlu Group and other dairies.

The two men were sentenced in January in Shijiazhuang, capital of Hebei, where Sanlu was based. Their appeals were rejected by the Hebei Provincial Higher People's Court in March.
