Check if topic is 'Off-Topic', ie. more play than work
can be misunderstood:
Until today I thought it meant:
"Dear moderator, please verify that this is not Off-Topic."
Now I understand it means:
"Activate this checkbox, if.."

This reminds me of P.G.Wodehouse. In one of his books, a police constable is assaulted when he is contemplating a duck pond. The poor fellow goes to the local Justice of Peace and complains:"Sir, I was assaulted by the duck pond". The JP asks him with irritation as to how a duck pond can assault him. The poor fellow goes on to explain in a sort of rigmarole that when he said "by the duck pond" he meant by the side of duck pond and goes on to explain that he is in the habit of... Now, for the life of me I cannot understand as to why I am reminded of this story.

A woman walks into a lawyer's office seeking to divorce her husband.
