Mostly are issue with encoding. In TMX are some Unicode characters.
In generally I will import TMX into TMLookup, export TXT file and create TMX with TMX Maker (part of LF Aligner).
--
In your case TMX was imported. Did you tried to search another term? I hope you did.
In similar topic I recommend Wordfast Server. WFPro works with WFS, where is big imported big TM.
--
For new terminology I search the term in EurLex, than I download TMX with LF Aligner. The files are smaller and contain the terminology I want to search.

Is it mandatory to use Wf Server for a TM of this size, or can WFP be used too?
Hi,
Opus TMs are full of mis alignements and other undesirables. I suggest you clean your TM thoroughly before using it (you will have to split it before cleaning as most TMX editors don't handle TMs over 1 million TUs).
To solve your issue, here is what I suggest:
Once you have the TMX the way you want it, run it through WfConverter. You can use it to convert your TMX to txt. WfPro can import your txt and store it locally (This process will be heavy on computer resources). This may solve your compatibility issues (encoding etc.). If the problem persists, convert your txt to UTF8.
