Wordfast Pro 6 over a NAS

Hi
I'm trying to run Wordfast Pro 6 from my iMac (Monterey) hosting Project, TM and TD folders on a NAS. Older projects import well, whereas TMs and TD cannot be imported, Error message says "Unable to connect to TM!".
Does anybody have experience with running WFP over a NAS or an explanation why projects import well and memories not?
FYI: Cafetran has no problem importing TMs from the NAS.

Well, I couldn't get the Terramaster NAS to work conveniently so it went back to Amazon. In the meantime I realized that I can use the iCloud NAS (200 GB) which is part of the macOS to do exactly what I want, that is, access my files from any device and in particular to work on my Macbook Pro on my terrace.
