Hello,
some time ago I think I saw an ad on a website for a 2004 edition of A Practical Guide to Localization by Bert Esselink. On the publisher's website (http://tinyurl.com/9gd9o), though, there is no reference to it. I assume the last edition was published in 2000, can you confirm this?

I was thinking on buying this book but then I thought that a book on localization published 6 years ago may not be all that useful nowadays... Have you read this book? Do you find it still useful?
Can you recommend any other GOOD book or website on localization? (I've already subscribed to Lisa and GruppoL10N)
I personally found it a very useful investment about five years ago and on occasion still find answers to arcane questions in this book.
Sure, a lot has changed in "Global Information Management". CAT tools do more than they used to, for example, but my guess is you'd find that the detailed basics really help to give a meaningful overview here.
