Unfortunately, it also adds these icons to my custom group on the Home ribbon which completely mungs up my custom group. These icons don't go away, they are still there the second time I open Word. I can delete them (File tab, Options, Customize ribbon) but, the next time I open Wordfast, they come back.
Any ideas? ▲ Collapse | | | Wordfast mistakes your personal toolbar for the Quick Access Toolbar | Apr 5, 2015 |
Hi Terry,
My setup is identical to yours and so is my problem. Wordfast mistakes your personal Word toolbar for the Quick Access Toolbar, where the Wordfast icons normally should go.
I have reported this some time ago to Yves Champollion, with screenshots and all, but nothing has changed since and I've learned to live with it.
The afflicted file is:
C:\Users\Terry\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\word.officeUI
Cheers,

After much experimenting, I've found that Wordfast adds its macros to the last group that already has macros in it. So, I created two new groups - the first with my 5 macros and a second one for WF to screw up with just one random macro in it. Now, when I open WF, it adds its macros to the second group and my little group of 5 macros is unaffected. I still have that second group on my ribbon but it's fairly innocuous as it has about a dozen macros in it and is therefore not expanded to individual icons. I also called it WF which doesn't take up much space. My group, containing only 5 items, is expanded to individual icons. ▲ Collapse | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Macro wierdness Trados Business Manager Lite | Create customer quotes and invoices from within Trados Studio
